Tomasz focuses primarily on corporate and commercial matters, with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Tomasz has extensive experience in handling commercial litigation and criminal commercial law.<\/p>\n
His corporate experience includes conducting numerous of M&A transactions and all types of corporate reorganizations, foreign direct investments carried in various formulas, mergers and divisions of companies, and negotiating complex international agreements.<\/p>\n
He gained his professional experience\u2014which now spans more than 15 years\u2014at law firms in Warsaw and as an in-house lawyer at companies operating in various industries. For 3 years he served as an parliamentary counsel in the Office of Committees of the Sejm – the Parliament of the Republic of Poland.<\/p>\n
Tomasz has handled numerous civil cases, including mainly commercial cases, cases related to the so-called corporate insurance and has represented Clients before numerous courts in Poland and abroad. His activity also focuses on acting as a defense counsel in criminal cases in the framework of repelling charges of so-called \u201cwhite-collar crimes,\u201d including advising and representing clients in cases involving allegations of unfair competition, mismanagement, fraud, insider trading, etc.<\/p>\n
From 2010 to 2013, he was a university instructor teaching courses related to civil law and corporate law.<\/p>\n
Tomasz has completed, among other things, a postgraduate management program at the Warsaw School of Economics and a number of training courses in Poland and abroad, including: \u201cBuying the Brains: M&A in IP\/IT Intensive Sectors\u201d in Tallinn, organized by the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA), and \u201cTrading in Europe and Internationally \u2013 Substantive and Procedural Aspects\u201d in Budapest, organized by the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA). <\/p>\n
