Tomasz focuses primarily on corporate and commercial matters, with a particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Tomasz has extensive experience in handling commercial litigation and criminal commercial law.
His corporate experience includes conducting numerous of M&A transactions and all types of corporate reorganizations, foreign direct investments carried in various formulas, mergers and divisions of companies, and negotiating complex international agreements.
He gained his professional experience—which now spans more than 15 years—at law firms in Warsaw and as an in-house lawyer at companies operating in various industries. For 3 years he served as an parliamentary counsel in the Office of Committees of the Sejm – the Parliament of the Republic of Poland.
Tomasz has handled numerous civil cases, including mainly commercial cases, cases related to the so-called corporate insurance and has represented Clients before numerous courts in Poland and abroad. His activity also focuses on acting as a defense counsel in criminal cases in the framework of repelling charges of so-called “white-collar crimes,” including advising and representing clients in cases involving allegations of unfair competition, mismanagement, fraud, insider trading, etc.
From 2010 to 2013, he was a university instructor teaching courses related to civil law and corporate law.
Tomasz has completed, among other things, a postgraduate management program at the Warsaw School of Economics and a number of training courses in Poland and abroad, including: “Buying the Brains: M&A in IP/IT Intensive Sectors” in Tallinn, organized by the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA), and “Trading in Europe and Internationally – Substantive and Procedural Aspects” in Budapest, organized by the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA).
He is a member of the Bar Association in Warsaw.
